Mum-of-five and gran-of-four Laynie admits she could hardly even walk without getting out of breath before her weight loss, and was borderline diabetic with high blood pressure. Her transformation has been so inspiring that her husband and friends have all been inspired to follow her lead and are losing weight too. Laynie, 58, has kept the weight off for the past two years, and now feels confident she has made lasting changes for a healthy lifestyle. But in June 2020, a chance conversation would spark a life-changing journey that has seen Laynie lose seven-and-a-half stone in under a year. Salford gran Laynie Nesbitt had been a yo-yo dieter for years, and had seen her weight continue to rise up to 19 stone. ![]()
